This is a blog that is exclusively meant for the FactBook. In this post, we will see what exactly is the FactBook.
On the Factorium, we have the Summer Extravaganza from 2nd May-21st June which will be coinciding with my Summer Holidays. As I have a lot of Free Time, I have decided to take the Factorium a step further and have decided to write eBooks. The Factbook is 'A seven-edition eBook which will be online every week from 2nd May-21st June (7 Sundays) and each FactBook will contain Facts on 5 topics except the last one which will have facts on 10 topics in absolute detail.
This blog is the official FactBook blog. Each edition of the FactBook, once written in Google Docs as a Presentation Format will be published and shared online. This Blog will contain links to the FactBooks as they go on publishing. Below are answers to some FAQ's about the FactBook:
1. What is the FactBook?
A. It is an Anthology of Facts presented in an eBook format on Google Docs.
2. Is it free to read?
A. Hey, it is absolutely free to read and I am doing it as my hobby. And secondly, I am too small to get anything out of it.
3. What will it feature?
A. Each of the 7 FactBooks will feature Facts on topics in absolute detail in contrast to the Factorium which only showcases or highlights the Important Facts. The first 6 FactBooks will have facts on 5 topics and the last FactBook will have facts n 10 topics.
4. What is the Frequency of Publishing?
A. Tentative dates for release of each FactBook have been posted on this blog itself. Here, publishing is synonymous to Sharing the eBook Online.
5. Where can I get to know about each FactBook?
A. The Links to the FactBooks will be published on this Blog and also on the Factorium. After that, all you have to do is just read the eBook.
6. How much time is to be spent while reading the FactBooks?
A. That depends upon your speed of reading. On an average, 8 Minutes are requires to read the full eBook!!
